AGM March 24th, 2007

This year's Annual General Meeting took place Friday, March 24th, 2007 at 7.30pm at the Standard Athletic Club. It was followed by a prize-giving and a magnificent dinner ("performed" by Moira Solom and Christine Butterworth together with the new B&R chairman, David Colson). Entertainment was led by Sue Hall, as usual.

The following Committee members stood for re-election and were unanimously re-elected:

• Pam Constant (Chair)
• Malcolm Forrest
• Sue Hall
• Douglas Anderson
• James Moore
• Simon Murphy
• Eric Lacey

The assembly thanked Nigel Law, absent through ill-health, who retired as treasurer in mid-year, for his devoted service over the years, and wished him a speedy return to good health.

Any ideas of ways of increasing interest in golf in general and membership of the Villarceaux section in particular would be welcome.

(Golfbag failed to adequately recharge his camera's batteries, so those of you who thought they might have been caught in flagrante are safe for the time being....)
