Mumblings from the fringe
Winner of the Autumn Vase for the best all comers Stableford score was Kamil Gachowski (3 series Men) with 42 points.
Dimiti Ansart took the Men's Brut (34) while
Caroline Icart
(23) got the Ladies' (followed closely by Julie Peacock.
Penny Tagher was the SAC success story of the day by winning the 1st series Ladies prize.
For the second year running, GolfBag's playing partner won the Nearest to the Pin - 116cm. This year it was Dminique Stenvot (Vill's Capitain de Jeux). Unfortunately GolfBag himself failed to make the green this year. Alas the nearest lady (well, there were only 2 on the green, apparently) will have to go unrecorded, a poor old GolfBag is having yet another senior moment.
Longest Drive on the 6th: Our very own Simon Murphy. The same senior moment also obscures the name of the longers lady driver. Sorry.
